Liverpool beat Man City 3-1 to win The Community Shield

Liverpool edged Man City 3-1 at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.
Trent Alexander Arnold broke the deadlock with a curling effort from the edge of the box in the 21st minute of the first half.

Man City equalized in the 70th with a debut goal from Alvarez. With ten minutes to go, Ruben Dias handled the ball inside his own penalty box to gift Liverpool a penalty which Mohammed Salah converted to take the score to 2-1 in favour of the reds.

As The Cityzens were searching for another equalizer, Darwin Nunez scored to turn the results from bad to worse in the dying moments of extra time.
This win secured Liverpool the first trophy of the season and broke a community shield trophy drought that lasted for 16 years.
